from Albufeira to Lisbon. This road leads from the north to the south through the Algarve,

The town Messines has an important function in this area of the Algarve. Sao Marcos has some small shops, a bank, a post office and all sorts of restaurants and cafés, were you also will find the locale people. ![]() ![]() | On the ultimate WestPoint of Europe is Cabo São Vicente. You can reach the west coast very quick through the Serra de Monchique (55km), or the Highway A22 that goes from east to the west through the Algarve. São Marcos da Serra belongs to the district Silves. This old Moorish city organizes many festivals for the tourists. Every year the second week of august there are medieval feasts where the whole town turns into a Moorish fortress. There is dancing and everywhere you can eat special dishes. |
